These Wiseco forged pistons are 87mm in diameter and fit 1.8L Yamaha FZR Waverunner Supercharged watercrafts. The piston maintains the 8.6:1 compression of the original pistons top, so no tune, fuel upgrades, or anything is needed, just drop them in; but are much stronger and efficient that the OEM ones. These Wiseco pistons are a must when boring the block , and are great as replacements to the OEM ones. They are excellent for turbo or supercharged applications.
Each of our Wiseco pistons allow maximum flow around the valves, and feature a Piston Crown shape to promote Intake charge efficiency resulting in more added power. Wiseco pistons also feature a skirt profile to optimize squish or quench during the compression and combustion cycle resulting in resistance to detonation and pre-ignition, therefore increasing the engine’s longevity. Pistons are precision machined and have an excellent surface finish. The ring groove are CNC machined with tight tolerances. The included piston pin are 9310 low carbon hardened steel and the pin clips are Spirolox featuring chrome silicon material for excellent yield strength.
